Having introduced herself back in May with her debut single “Stones“, 18-year-old UK singer-songwriter Anolah is back with the second one.

The new song was named “Scratch” and offers listeners a fresh take on trip-hop. Its production combines hypnotic rhythms, intricate melodies and deep bassline. The track is musically evocative and lyrically introspective.

Anolah shares, “‘Scratch’ delves into the surreal experience of feeling like reality is a hazy dream world. It captures that distant sensation when clarity seems out of reach, and everything feels slightly askew – like a puzzle waiting to be solved. Kinda like when it was written in Portugal! The G-string on my guitar snapped, so I had to explore different chord progressions. The initial keys clashed but back home I could blend these elements and craft symphony from the discord“.
