As most people were getting ready to usher in the New Year, Solar State released “It’s A Mad World” on December 29. This is a thoughtful yet upbeat dance-pop track.

Characterized by raspy male vocals and tropical-flavoured melodies, “It’s A Mad World” is amazing in both writing and execution.

The musician shares, “It’s a Mad World is a Protest song, a mirror I’m holding up as a dad of 4 kids for everyone to reflect on 2023 on what a mess it is we’re making of this world. Wars, climate change, food waste, a healthcare / pharmaceutical industry prescribing drugs to make profits. I’m raising my voice for a change to be made by all of us as we’re all to blame and responsible. Change is needed for our children and theirs to have a quality life! My 4 children form kids choir.“
