Following “scary”, British-Armenian singer-songwriter Gayaneh Lara reveals another song. She named this one “I Think He’s Trying To Kill Me” and paired it with an artful video.

This new track finds Lara gripped by paranoia, with her vivid lyrics describing a vague, unfounded fear.

“The song began with the title: ‘I Think He’s Trying To Kill Me’,” says Gayaneh. “It was part of my vocabulary; an ironic catchphrase. It led me to explore the idea of living with a person who has the potential to hurt you, but never does. It has a mellow, ear-wormy chorus, but with enough bounce to get people moving.“

The pulsating electronic beats gives rise to a fun catchy groove which will get you dancing, despite the track’s dark tone.
