Prior to listening to this new song called “Ebay Armour”, I didn’t know anything about Linn Koch-Emmery. It turns out the Swedish singer-songwriter is one of the emerging names in the Scandinavian indie scene.

Equally as exciting as the song’s release is the announcement of Linn’s upcoming sophomore album, Borderline Iconic, which is set to arrive later in May. Because “Ebay Armour” is such a great tune, I can’t wait to listen the full album.

“Ebay Armour” itself is a melody-driven, reverb-drenched indie rock song that reflects the artist’s modern approach to music. It saw her work with acclaimed producer Pete Robertson (of UK band The Vaccines).

About the inspiration, “Trauma and grief has its own illogical ways. Sometimes we cope with it through substances, others by buying a life sized armour off the internet. This song is about a person close to me, that I never really figured out.

I like the song and think you will too. Listen to it and connect with Linn Koch-Emmery on Instagram.
