Rising Kenyan producer and songwriter M. Rumbi has quite a number of releases lined up this year. Kickstarting the rollout is “It’s You”, a song on which he collaborates with Nairobian artist Andyah.

The alt-R&B track is stripped-down in style, with lovely guitars and mellow synths guiding Andyah’s soulful delivery. Written about that passionate desire for someone, “It’s You” is poignant but also soothing.

It is the single that precedes Rumbi’s upcoming EP, Whispers of The Soul. The producer is planning to release a new EP every couple of months. Do follow him (M. Rumbi) as well as Andyah on Instagram.
