With their new EP titled Aze the Band the Duo, Austrian pair Aze get to charm listeners with their enthralling brand of dream pop, which sounds both familiar and unique.

Focus-track “Mother, did I make you proud?” is boppy in a quirky way. In fact, the whole EP, even with its sad-girl-pop inclination, sounds refreshing.

Previous singles “Jet Matt Set North” and “Sneaky Link” already set the tone with their moody production. Producer Jakob Herber, a frequent Aze collaborator, sprinkles him magic once again, contributing to this EP a highhearted feel.
