Raelle relieves herself of “Pressure” in new music video

I was introduced to Raelle last year when the South London-based singer/songwriter released “Falling”, which ultimately led to her Bloodlines EP. A few months later, I was completely hooked after hearing her feature on Collard’s magnificent track “Stolen”.

Naturally, when Raelle dropped a new single a couple of weeks ago titled “Pressure”, I had to give it a listen. This sublime neo-soul track showcases Raelle’s soulful vocals and diverse musical influences. Her lyrics are broody and gracefully introspective.

Raelle says that the song “represents the closure of a chapter both musically and in my personal life, holding space for those who mistake my kindness for weakness.

She adds, “It mourns both myself and the hurt, as well as a relationship that never truly existed. It’s about reclaiming power and the sometimes unsteady journey in between.

The music video for “Pressure” is just as beautiful as Raelle’s vocal performance. Watch the video and keep up with Raelle on Instagram.
