Six years since the release of Elina‘s debut single, “Wild Enough“, the song remains evocative as ever. The acclaimed singer/songwriter penned it alongside fellow Swede Andreas Moe.
Now, the co-writer teams up with another Swedish songstress Clara Mae to release a gorgeous cover of this stirring piece. Their duetted version of “Wild Enough” does justice to the original, maintaining its depth.
Andreas reveals, “In creating the new version of ‘Wild Enough,’ it was important for us to avoid losing the essence that makes the first version so breathtakingly beautiful with its stripped-down arrangement of just piano and Elina conveying emotions in a way that grips the heart. It was a bit like dancing on a tightrope between exploring new musical boundaries and embracing the magical simplicity of the original version – Challenging but extremely inspiring.“
I wholeheartedly agree with Moe; their rendition of “Wild Enough” is indeed beautiful and hits all the right notes. At Aipate, we’ve always admired these three artists and have covered their music in the past.
