After months of generating anticipation on social media, Nashville-based artist Zach Hood has finally realised his latest single, “Weatherman”.
“Weatherman”, written by Jayden Seelay, Jordan Dodd and Zach Hood, involves a lyrical style characterized by honesty and raw emotion, making it a song that one can easily relate to.
It’s about foreseeing the end of a relationship yet not being able to do anything to salvage it. In terms of his delivery, Zach manages to showcase his incredible vocals as he delivers the song alongside soft guitar plucks.
“I was in a very happy relationship for 2 years that slowly turned into my biggest heartbreak and my muse for these past few years. Towards the middle of our relationship I could tell that she was kind of fading from the girl I first met. I could tell that she wasn’t very happy with our relationship and no matter what i said or did it wouldn’t bring back that girl. It broke me. She was the only thing I ever really wanted in this world and she slowly fell out of love. ‘Weatherman’ is about the last few months I was with her. It felt like a storm was coming and I couldn’t do anything about it,” Zach shared.
In the music video for “Weatherman”, the pop vocalist is portrayed as a news presenter. Each scene reflects the emotion in the song.
With its amazing melodies and harmonies, “Weatherman” is another great release from Zach Hood. As you listen to the song, be sure to connect with the artist on Instagram.
