Kru has her eye on the prize. As she warms up for the release of a new EP titled Inevitable, the Mumbai-born US-based singer has unveiled the music video for her “Masterplan” single, having released the track last month.

“Masterplan” is a collaboration with producer Cha Cha Malone, and features a verse from Korean-American rap sensation Junoflo. It’s a sultry and charming pop song influenced by 2000s R&B. The video, directed by Mitch Forte, is quite befitting, carrying the same aesthetic as the track.

I wanted people to feel like they are the baddest, strongest, and most motivated when they listen to this. But if I must be honest, this song was really made for women with the sole goal to empower us, shine a light on our capabilities, and manifest the level of respect we deserve,” Kru says.

“Masterplan” is fun and enjoyable. I see most listeners adding this song to their playlists. Be sure to follow the artists on Instagram:
