The timing of my discovery of Joe & The Anchor couldn’t have been better. The Swedish pop band just released their debut album, Coming Of Age, a few days ago.

Arriving with the focus track “Change”, the album is impeccably crafted. It was produced by Sam Petter Claeson and Joakim Rosenlund.

 “The whole process of ‘Coming Of Age’ has felt like when we wrote music as teenagers in the rehearsal room, and we have gotten to recreate the unfiltered feeling of pure creativity, genuineness and joy that was the reason we found each other long ago,” says Joe & The Anchor.

The 5-piece band was formed by childhood friends. Their songs are infectious, captivating listeners more and more with every repeated listen. “Change” illustrates that perfectly.
