I stumbled on Ola Kvaløy in April 2022. At that time, the Norwegian musician had just made a return after a 3-year hiatus, releasing the song “Fair Weather“.

In the months following that release, he proceeded to release a string of singles that culminated in an album titled Any Other Life later that year. Well, after another short break, he is back with a new single, and the promise of another album.

The song is called “Breathe Out, Breathe In”. Characterized by delicate instrumentation and dreamy melodies, it’s quite impressive. The song urges us to always take deep breaths when faced with life’s pivotal decisions. I love its arresting indie sound.
