Armed with a super soulful voice and an affinity for blending genres, Winnie Ama is enormously talented, and worth every attention she’s been getting. Recently, the UK artist released an acoustic version of her beautiful folk-infused R&B track, “Wide Open”. That song was released sometimes last year.

The new version is just as gorgeous as the original, with Ama stripping the track down to its raw essence. “Wide Open” heartwarmingly describes a case of unrequited attraction, curiously and understandingly exploring both sides of the story. Winnie co-wrote it with Irish singer-songwriter Ciaran Lavery.
