If there’s a time to get to know Charlotte Morris, it’s now. The Philadelphia-born Nashville transplant has just kickstarted the rollout of a new album, Both Sides.

The first single is a fervent pop-rock song called “Villain”. New listeners will be introduced to the singer-songwriter’s sound which combines various styles including rock, americana and jazz. Charlotte draws inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell and Eva Cassidy.

“Villain” is filled with beautiful harmonies, ensuring listeners will be singing along to the passionate lyrics. This is one of those song that I’ll keep coming back to, for sure.
