Up-and-coming Swedish singer-songwriter Josefine Landelius has shared a new single, “Whiskey on the Rocks”. This song is the follow-up to her teardrops in the rain EP, which was released back in April.

“Whiskey on the Rocks” is a soulful amalgam of sounds ranging from folk and country to pop. With a layered instrumentation and beautiful harmonies, the song is quite mesmerizing, with Josefine’s storytelling ability being brought to the fore.

“I loved writing this song as it came in a natural flow, where everything just clicked at once. It’s playful and a bit edgy—not what I usually do, which is why I like it,” she reveals.
