For lovers of afroswing, you’ve got to check out “Smooth Lovin” by UK rap duo Krept & Konan. The P2J-produced song features Jamaican dancehall mainstay Popcaan, who also appears in the alluring music video. It serves as the first single from Krept & Konan’s planned third studio album, Young Kingz II .
In Krept and Konan’s own words, “‘Smooth Lovin’ brings that fusion of Afro and Caribbean vibes thanks to P2J on the production-he’s the genius behind ‘G Love’’ from our last album and even though winter’s coming, we’re already getting people in the mood for summer 25. We always want to bring it back to our roots, so linking up with Popcaan again was only right.’
