Australian indie-rockers SPACE&AGES are worth checking out. The Brisbane-based quartet combines their penchant for melodies with an adventurous spirit to create music that is both catchy and thrilling. “Puzzle Piece” is the band’s latest release — and fourth of 2024.

“Puzzle Piece” arrives with a B-side called “Bittersweet”. There’s a stark contrast in mood between the two tracks; while the former is a high-octane and anthemic expression of youthful love, the latter is a pensive indie-folk song capturing the difficulty in trying to move on.
