You probably already know who Roots of Creation are. Aipate has featured the Billboard-charting reggae/dub band in the past. This time, the outfit decided to reimagine Grateful Dub’s 1974 alt-rock classic, “Scarlet Begonias”, serving up a lovely record in the process.

Roots of Creation’s version starts with an insane bassline, incorporating layers of instrumental elements as the track builds up. “Scarlet Begonias (Live at Sugarshack Sessions)” is a delightful record, one that you’ll find yourself playing on repeat.
