Having been wowed by Clover County‘s “Ultraviolet” single, I couldn’t wait to hear the entire EP that she was waiting to unveil. Well, Porch Lights EP is now out, and I’m thoroughly impressed.

The focus track “Under These Conditions” and its accompanying visuals feel warm, sentimental and empowering. Commenting about the song, Clover (birth-name AmandaGrace Schiano) says:

“‘Under These Conditions’ was the ‘kick-in-the-ass-come-to-Jesus’ talk I needed to have with myself, a reminder not to sacrifice the life I wanted while people pleasing the generational expectations placed on me by the town I was living in, the church I grew up in, or the people I was raised by.“

She really got to showcase her creative versatility and ability to evoke strong emotions with her music. “Under The influence”, and the whole Porch Lights EP, is beautifully woven, every melody striking a chord with the listener.
