Danish outfit june follow up “Cross Bridges” with a moving track, “Crying In The Bathroom”.

At the beginning of this year, we wrote a piece about june, the pop band from Denmark who had just made a return after a 3-year hiatus. Well, the follow-up has just arrived, and it’s a beautiful acoustic-leaning track called “Crying In The Bathroom”. The song has a touching melancholic tone.

I think a lot of people have that one friend who has a 100 friends, and is always the last one to leave the party. The song is about that person, and what happens when the party’s over,” lead singer Celine says, continuing: “That’s always been the story. But to be honest I think it was a distance I created so it was easier to reveal some hard truths about myself in the song.

The moving nature of “Crying In The Bathroom” makes me want to play to it again and again. As you give it a listen, be sure to connect with june on Instagram.
