What is Skiza Tunes?

Skiza Tunes is a personalized ring back tone service offered by Kenyan telecom company Safaricom. This service has been available to all its users for well over a decade now, with customers able to download or record a Skiza Tune that will then be heard by their callers, or themselves when they are calling someone.

How can You Unsubscribe from Skiza Tunes?

As with all good services, it’s possible that at some point a user will want to opt out. A few methods exist. Here are two ways of unsubscribing from Skiza Tunes.

1. Using SMS

You can delete a Skiza Tune by sending an SMS with the word DELETE and the SKIZA Code of the tune you wish to delete to to 811.

For example, send “DELETE 5050005” to 811 so as to delete that Skiza tune.

2. Using USSD Code

Dial *811# on on phone, select “Manage My Tune”, then choose the Skiza tune that you want to remove. Finally select Delete. That’s it.

There you have it. You may use your preferred method to delete or unsubscribe from Skiza Tunes.
