“Nterini”, which is one of the songs on Malian singer-songwriter Fatoumata Diawara‘s 2018 album Fenfo, was recently given an Afro-house rework.
“Nterini 2.0” was crafted by Madrid-based DJ/producer duo Sparrow & Barbossa and Mexico City-based house musician Luch. It is out via Insomniac Records.
The remix gets its compelling edge from the richly layered soundscape and Fatoumata’s expressive vocals. This song will, for sure, remain a fixture on my stereo. You’ll certainly enjoy it as well.
