When I first heard “Don’t Drink The Water” by Jerz & The Fatman featuring AR the Prophet and Didda Joe, I found myself exclaiming: “who are these guys!“.

I mean, their fusion of smooth hip hop beats with thoughtful bars and a soulful hook is just so delightful.

As I came to find out, Jerz & The Fatman are a producer duo who, for last two decades, have worked with some big names, including elite emcee Mos Def. AR the Prophet and Didda Joe, whose marvellous delivery really elevated this track, have also been ‘in their bag’ for a while now.

“Don’t Drink The Water” brought out the best out of each artist, providing us with a jam we can listen to again and again.
