After the release of her debut album, Swedish dancer-turned-singer Halon proceeded into a break that lasted about two years. She then returned a couple of months ago, unveiling “A Second Summer”.

And here with us is yet another red-hot single from Halon. The vibrant alt-pop song is called “How Can You, How Can I” and is lifted from her planned sophomore album.

For this song, the Stockholm-based artist teamed up with songwriter Hilda Stenmalm (Liam McCluskey was on production duty).

“We wanted to write something that makes people feel sexy and untamed, even in the middle of grief. The song is a confession about the cost of pride, and both a release and a romanticization of sorrow,” Halon shares.
