Emerging New Zealand artist alayna is gearing up for the release of her second album, Set Her Free. The project is scheduled for a February 13 release. “Animal”, its final single, arrived early this year.

On this track, the singer’s the singer’s sultry side and soulful sensibilities are fully and confidently on showcase. “Animal” is so seductive–it arrived paired with a music video that captures its sensual vibe.

“I had this vision of a woman sitting at the bar, feeling eyes on her, and feeling the power that she held because of that, knowing that everyone was in the palm of her hand. We then set into this world of primal instinct, this character who completely and truly loves herself, of liberation,” alayna shares.
