German-Tunisian electronic producer Taroug is expected to release a new album titled Chott on 27th March through Denovali Records. “Najet”, the album’s final single, arrived about a fortnight ago.

“Najet” features dense, bass-heavy production, with discordant traditional Tunisian instruments dominating the track.

The upcoming album is generally steeped in North African heritage—it actually got its name from Lake Chott EL Djerid.
