Who I Was EP is yet another gorgeous collection of indie folk tunes from US singer-songwriter Eli Lev. The artist grabbed my attention for the first time three years ago with his EP, Walk.Talk.Dance.Sing. He is a really talented musician, and this new mini-album emphasizes that.

Of the four songs in the EP, I just can’t get enough “My Wish Was You” and “Echo”.

“My Wish Was You” is an intimate song about which Lev says, “I wrote this piece as a reflection on a past relationship that once felt like fate. It’s about longing for someone who once fit perfectly into your world — and wondering if that connection was just a dream, or something deeper that slipped away.”
