Lagos-raised UK-based singer Nino Mayanna is no ordinary artist. Beyond her natural talent, she is exceptionally self-driven. In fact, her latest single “Aje” is all about the hustle.

“‘Aje’ comes from a real moment in my life where people close to me questioned the way I hustle,” Mayanna reveals.

“I’m telling them not to be upset – I’m grinding because no one else can provide for me. The song reflects wanting a comfortable life, choosing my own path, and asking those close to me to support me instead of doubting my drive.”

Musically, the song is quite infectious. An afropop anthem with sprinkles of pop melodies, “Aje” showcases Nino’s beautiful voice and vibrant personality.
