Why am I just finding out about Velar Prana? I mean this up-and-coming Austrian artist’s sound is simply infectious. Or at least that’s the feeling I got when I heard “I’ve Been Waiting”, his first single of 2026.

“I’ve Been Waiting” is a warm indie funk track that I find totally captivating. I love how Velar’s smooth vocals blend smoothly with the layered instrumentation. And the lyrics are just so heartfelt, reverent even.
