Genre-blending Australian band South Summit are scheduled to release their sophomore album, RUN IT BACK, on 12th June.

The announcement was made recently, with a new single also released. “On The Dash” is the title of the groove-laden alt-R&B track, which arrived paired with stunning visuals.

Filled with creamy melodies and alluring vocal harmonies, “On The Dash” has a fun, laidback feel. It points to the direction that the band took with the upcoming album.

“We came into this record at a completely different point in our lives and weren’t afraid to take risks,” the 5-piece band shares. “Touring had a huge impact on the writing — being in different countries gives you a new perspective and the songs started to come more naturally once we trusted that.”

This new track shows exactly why South Summit have become so popular. I mean, “On The Dash” is quite an earworm.
