In the 2010s, Danish singer-songwriter Marie Fjeldsted made music under the moniker Penny Police. Since reverting to her birth-name a few years ago, she has presented us with one amazing album: 2023’s Keep It Alive.

The artist’s latest offering is a lovely song called “Like I Was Never Mine”. This single marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Marie, who is known for her gentle yet powerful voice.

“Like I Was Never Mine” is an warm, intimate indie-pop track with hints of indie-rock. Built around an atmospheric soundscape, it feels so moving.
