Hamburg-based DJ & producer duo WITH U teamed up with Joshua Baraka, who is undeniably one of East Africa’s finest vocalists, for this blissful house anthem “Girl In Ibiza”.
Out on German record label Crash Your Sound, the song arrived paired with a sunset-loving music video.
“Girl In Ibiza” exhibits WITH U’s alluring fusion of afro house with melodic house. Baraka’s topline is equally bewitching.
“We were just scrolling through TikTok one evening when we stumbled upon this clip of Joshua in the studio, vibing with some producers and singing this insanely catchy melody. It instantly caught us – the vibe, the emotion, everything. We opened our DAW right away, built a remake around it, and posted it back as a reaction. Joshua saw it, loved it, and that’s how the collaboration was born. What started as a random scroll turned into ‘Girl in Ibiza’,” says WITH U.
