Brooklyn-based musician Shai Wetzer is set to release a new album titled You Can Hear It Your Own Way in a couple of weeks. The album will immerse listener’s in the drummer and percussionist’s eclectic style.

Listening to the latest single taken from the album left me beyond impressed–and in anticipation mode.

Titled “Transitions” and featuring vocals from Bligh Voth, the new folk-jazz track is so captivating. I love the fusion of bossa nova rhythms with strings melodies and folky vocals, as the Middle Eastern sections punctuating the track.
