The title track of Oguta Bobo‘s classic album Rujina Kalando is also a classic.

One Tom Bwana penned this mini review of the LP. He says:

“Many people say Oguta played nyatiti- the 8-string lyre. But they are wrong. Oguta Bobo played Onanda, the accordion. Apart from Odero Kongoro I think the song Rujina Kalando was Oguta’s perfect definition. We may not call Oguta a master poet but he passes for an exquisite storyteller with insights of comedy. In this song he’s narrating his ordeal with the cops who nabbed him at a busaa/chang’aa den enjoying the drink with his lover Rujina. Then his experience at the cells…hilariously agonizing”
