Sherpa is a Danish dark-pop duo, who has just released the video for their debut single, “Fornever”. The song was released through the indie label, MiniMe Records. The Copenhagen-based outfit is comprised of vocalist Carsten Eliasen and Torre Nissen and was formed last year.
“Fornever” induces in you a nostalgic feeling and is stylistically, unique and somewhat futuristic. It stems from the long time the two took experimenting withdifferent sounds. Lyrically, it is quite gripping.
“The lyrics reflect on those moments that, seem like they could last forever, but with a blink of an eye they disappear. Maybe they become distant memories, maybe you doubt if they ever happened – they become fornever moments. We want people to remember and appreciate those moments.” ~ Eliasen says of the single, “Fornever”.
