Unchained XL is out with a groovy, afro-beat laced Grime track titled “What You Said”. It is a song off his debut EP, Foreign Legacy. The 5-track project has been released today, March 1st.

The artist is an Auckland, New Zealand-based, British-born, Nigerian rapper-producer. He is also a multi-instrumentalist and composer who experiments with different flavours of sounds.

“What You Said” is about confronting a friend who never keeps promises. XL adds Fela traditional Kuti-inspired, African rhythms to the Hip Hop elements. The result is a Grime track with a unique sound and delivery.
