rx Soul delivers another beautiful piece in the form of his latest song, “No Better”. The LA-based artist, whose 2017 debut “All The Way There” charted to the top of HypeMachine, has already worked with rapper Indica and producer The Kount. This new record, which to be specific, is his eight single, comes imbued with an element of sophistication. The singer’s tender vocals meet the pop-ready electronic production to give the song a sublime feel. About the cosy-yet-deep composition, he says:
“I wrote this song about a close friend of mine whose sibling turned their back on the family and left during a time of need. The song takes place from their perspective, as they try to make sense of the situation and imagine what life might be like for the family in the future.“
The artist, who is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and grew up between the homes of divorced parents, started with writing love stories but later shifted to describing human’s often dark experiences. Listen to the song and follow him on Facebook.
