“Photograph” is lifted off Royal Wood‘s new EP, Love Will Linger. This project, itself, is a follow up to the Canadian folk singer/songwriter’s album, Ever After the Farewell (April, 2018). “Photograph” is a melancholic piece that touches on an issue closer to his heart. About the song, he says:

I wrote this song with the talented Jessica Mitchell about losing my father to Alzheimer’s and the significance the photographs of him have meant to my family. Death comes to us all and the lives lost should be remembered. I’m grateful that I still have the days gone past with my father alive and well in his photographs. I hope this song and video help bring memories of loved ones back to life for others as well.

Love Will Linger EP carries songs whose compositions contrast love and loss. Watch the official video for the song (“Photograph”) above via YouTube.
