Komtyndi makes her solo debut with a self-titled track, “Komtyndi”. The Afro-flavored, House-music record was produced by Tdy, with the beat having been made by Rany. Released via Canadian label Jouzik Records, this melody-rich and groovy song finds the Cameroonian singer on a rather jolly mood. Her vocals sounds warm and breezy and perfectly blends into the track’s pleasant tune. 

Komtyndi is a Yaoundé-born artist whose upbringing was characterized by a blend of different ethnic and cultural heritages. She later, in 2010, moved to Quebec, Canada to advance her craft. As a musician, however, she has been involved with different musical outfits. For the past 15 years, she’s worked with Cameroonian acts like Manu Dibango, Sally Nyollo, Gino Sitson, Anne-Marie Nzié, Sam Fan Thomas and at some point her own band, Le soleil levant Band. A number of awards later, she is now venturing as a solo artist.
