From the addictive chorus to the honest lyrics to the soothing vocal delivery, “Recovering Romantic” is a sweetly, groovy indie-pop track. Written and sung by Canadian vocalist and pianist Mike Evin, who is supported Ian MacKay (drums/percussion), Howie Beck (percussion/electric guitar, synth), Dennis Mohammed (bass) and “Give Up The Ghost”-singer, Stacey Kaniuk (backup vocals), the song talks about the thrilling vulnerability associated with love. Dominated by a percussive piano melody, this song was produced/mixed by Howie Beck and mastered by Joao Carvalho. Released on January 25th, it’s lifted off Evin’s upcoming album, Evin On Earth. He has already released five albums and two EP’s and we cant wait to get out hands ion this.
