Most, if not all, of us have lost a loved one. It is that feeling that inspired “Can’t Wait”, a song by American emcee Low Blow. Featuring Inglewood-based, indie-pop band Big Tree and rapper Damani Nkosi, the heartfelt song is emotive-yet-soothing. The funky, soul-infused, classic West Coast hip hop record is lifted off First Book of Timothy, Low Blow’s debut album. The 10-track LP arrived on Common Good Records, a vinyl label. The reflective songs talk of love, loss, hardships and social issues.

We have just shared the song’s official clip, which was directed by Luke Ellington, with support from Greg Malone and Allakoi ‘Mic Holden’ Peete. Watch/listen above.
