From adept switch from singing to rap then back to singing in the verses, to the soaring vocals in the synth-heavy hook, Kayden McCarthy‘s “Amsterdam” offers a listening experience to savour. The high energy, pop-inflected, EDM track carries a Future bass foundation. In the song, ‘Amsterdam’ is used metaphorically to symbolize ‘a place where anything goes’ and where people can visit whenever they need a break away form life’s stresses.

Kayden is a New jersey-born artist who began making music in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Later, he moved to Chicago. His style is influenced by late 90’s rock ‘n’ roll, early 2000’s hip hop and modern-day, electro-pop.
