Zenesoul is in a class of just a limited number of current singers who can trust only their voice to be main star on a record and the Nigerian-born, Canadian R&B/soul artist’s debut EP Worth is a perfect illustration of this claim. The 5-track project not only accords her the chance to showcase her strong voice but it also helps induct her into the thin list of the R&B musicians still keeping it classic. We have, above, highlighted “No Going Back”, which is the third song on the EP. You’ll feel how her vulnerable songwriting fits into the track’s soulful tune.
