The track is taken off FIRE ON MARZZ, the 19-year-old indie-pop artist’s debut EP. “Glitter” sounds engagingly upbeat and is smoothly weaved into form by intricate melodies and then filled up by the singer/songwriter’s wholehearted vocals and lyrics.
BENEE hails from — and was raised in — suburban Auckland. Her 2018 song “Soaked” helped orchestrate her breakthrough into the music industry, pushing her name into the charts.
