This year, Trinidadian-born and Atlanta-based US rapper Trinidad James got to spice up his birthday celebration (on 24th September) by releasing a new single and video. The song is entitled “PLAYLI$T” and is an absolute banger. Crafted from a Young Fyre-produced beat, it finds the artist in an appreciative spirit as he drops shout-outs to artists like 2 Chainz, Future and Cardi B, whose music he says inspires him.

Not only does “PLAYLI$T” mark a strong return for Trinidad James, it is also the first release under the newly signed global distribution and label services deal between his label Gold Gang Records / Beach Wave Sounds and ADA Worldwide.

“It’s a love song for humanity and hip-hop. Not many singles show other artists love on them. Every artist mentioned on the hook is an artist that inspires me, and I actually have on my ‘PLAYLI$T’.”
