Joel Havea Trio is a Hamburg-based band fronted by Tongan-Australian singer/songwriter Joel Havea. Bassist Arnd Geise and drummer Leo Lazar are the other two members of the outfit whose music is a fusion of blues, roots, jazz and rock.

With their scheduled album titled Ki ‘a Lavaka (due in 3rd April) on the way, they’re giving fans a hint of what to expect with the release of the single “Hell To Pay”. Like other tracks on the upcoming full-length, this is a bluesy tune carrying heavy influences from Tongan sounds. Joel’s soulful vocals overlies the lovely instrumentation.
