“Shakira” is a new trans-Continental collaboration that brings together Kenyan singer Seroney, Costa Rica’s Christian Can and Kenyan singer/producer/engineer Esque The Beat Killa. The song infuses Caribbean and Latin melodies into Afro-beats influenced percussion. The track’s instrumentation is further veneered with a crust of electronic elements. With a nice swaying and dance-inducing tune, “Shakira” is a serenade to a beautiful and sassy girl — and an ode to the the Colombian Latin-pop star.

The record is billed as the first single off of Seroney’s upcoming debut album.
