Cimo Fränkel is an Amsterdam-bred musician who wears many hats creatively. Having spent a decade behind the songwriter’s desk penning hits such as “Shotgun” by Yellow Claw and “Sex” by Cheat Codes & Kris Kross Amsterdam, the Dutch talent is now as pushing his brand as a solo artist. His latest single “World Is Waking Up” (arriving ahead of his album which drops April 10) is a magnificently made piece. The lyrics is urgent and profound and Cimo rounds it up beautifully up with his genuine vocals and inviting harmonies.
