Should a relationship with a not-that-many-strings-attached arrangement graduate into something more special? That’s the idea that Netherlands based singer-songwriter Nicolas Kanza toys with in his new song “FWB”. With lyrics that underscore the need to overcome the fear of being emotionally hurt should such a relationship take a more serious direction, the song paints an interesting picture. Musically, it’s dressed in a contemporary R&B track that allows Kanza’s great voice to stand out.
