Hartlepool-based 22-year-old singer-songwriter Michael Rice is a truly gifted artist. The former X-Factor and Eurovision contestant’s new single “Breaking Free” is an affirmation of his multiple talents. An uplifting indie-pop song, it carries traces of Gospel and Soul.

Michael can be heard delivering heartfelt lyrics as he sings alongside a gripping piano. He is further supported by a background choir which fills the song with beautiful harmonies.
